Linux user since 2012 i've been through it all and seen it all and while i don't know everything i do know some things
Yes BSD is kind of cool as well

in the UK you can get arrested over a social media post saying i hate the police

Be glad the US has not become this....YET

i watched all five seasons of cobra kai and enjoyed some of it
there was parts where i skipped because they leaned too much into the teenager soap opera shit but i do think it still respects Karate which is the point

While i think Jackie Chan is a great actor i hate that the newer movies are called karate kid when they teach kung fu which is not karate

CachyOS=if you don't like systemd find something else

Might i recommend @artixlinux or @devuan

Both of them let you pick inits that don't want to monitor your entire life

CachyOS has taken a stance
if you hate age spyware you're a radical person https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IJN6UWZPrzk

Yet another Linux distro that gets overhyped and falls with a single decision

CachyOS Censors "Radicals" Opposed to Age Verification

Even if age spyware laws passsed in my state it wouldn't matter cause i use runit

all i'd have to do if they added runit-userdb is blacklist that service from being able to touch the var/run/runit/service folder on artix and it would not be able to run at all

Are you surprised it's people who are owned by corporations https://youtu.be/SsS6mPXR1js
Michigan OS Age Verification Law Supported by Democrats & Republicans

Just watch the classic tron movie and imagine the blues as you the user who just wants things to work and not feel under control free to do things as you see fit vs the reds who want to age spyware you and take total control of your life and your entire computer forcing you to do things a specific way never able to question any of it

Slackware reminds us

It used to be about the code speaking louder than the flag or labels

Now Linux is being infiltrated by flags and labels like nazi

Honestly thanks to this age verification law we are now starting to see in the open who stands behind their code and the people who use that code and who stands behind corporate interest at the cost of good code and the cost of your user experience

Fedora hates it's users
not shocking

At least slackware still cares about you though https://youtu.be/M5Wd39RNzvg

Slackware Says No to Age Verification, But Fedora Linux Says Yes
