@mlanger I do not believe so. I was originally turned onto Namecheap when news came out about GoDaddyâs terrible CEO and Namecheap was recommended as an ethical alternative. The only news Iâve heard about NC since then is that theyâve terminated Russian accounts following the war in Ukraine.
I spent at least few hours trying to get SSL renewed on my domain only to find I was running in circles. I've setup and renewed SSL on multiple domains in the past, but I just can't get the process to work this time.
After picking up this task for the 3rd time I learned that Namecheap has a service where they will do it for me!!! I could not be happier! Time after time Namecheap amazes me. They're too good.

@ZephyrAuster I did briefly a night or two ago. It was providing unexpected input and skipping pages. A restart of my device solved the trouble. Haven't seen a repeat yet.
In June, Sonos is releasing the first pair of headphones to ever use WiFi instead of Bluetooth! Give me noise cancelation, a decent app to control the headphones, and a comfortable fit and I will never again use a different pair of headphones. Just learned today that California is increasing its base tax on cannabis from 15% to 19% in 2025. For the uninitiated, the base tax is just the first tax you pay. If you donât hold a medical cannabis recommendation, you end up paying around 40% in taxes on every cannabis purchase. The 2025 increase will push that closer to 50% tax. đ¤Ż
Could you imagine the uproar if alcohol or fast food was taxed at 50%? There would be blood on the streets within a few hours. But when when it comes to the âevilâ drug cannabis, California has no problem with an unreasonable tax rate.
Californiaâs cannabis tax rate so burdensome that the state has the lowest per capita sales of any mature cannabis market. Thatâs not because people here use less cannabis. Itâs because they continue to make their purchases on the black market. #cannabis
