So, @joynewacc needs some help. She is the other half of the Gaza-verified project, run together with @aral
She is on the ground in Gaza & trying to boost donations campaigns, but since Aral is busy offline these days, Palestinians’ pledges aren’t receiving much attention.

Maybe we can all help?
I’m linking some below throughout the day

A fantastic lesson in the ability of organised labour to resist and break an institution as powerful as the British Army. By refusing to transport munitions, weapons, and soldiers, railway workers brought the British war effort in Ireland to a standstill in 1920. The author also mentions the Algerian dockers in Oran who refused to load arms destined for the French colonial war in Indochina in 1949/50, and the power of such action could not be more necessary to halt the ongoing genocide in Gaza which is facilitated by Western arms.

Ryan Roberts has recently lost everything in a fire in prison. We need the money to pay back for the damaged laptop (£500) and to buy clothes and other essentials for Ryan. Ryan went to prison for defending our right to protest during the demonstration Kill The Bill in Bristol. On the night of the 21st of March 2021 the police used a huge display of violence against the people protesting the new police, crimes and sentencing bill which was a direct attack to the right to protest and Travellers rights, among other things. Ryan and other people stood up against the police violence. Ryan was sentenced to 14 years because of this. More people have been to prison too but Ryan Roberts has the longest time and needs all our support right now. Ryan's been recently moved to a new prison and needs our solidarity. Every bit helps! Any additional funds would be sent to Ryan to help with canteen and phone costs.
