Why can I only login to my hexbear account from a browser, and not from apps such as Sync, Infinity and so on. - Lemmy.world

Is hexbear.net [http://hexbear.net] not supported by those apps, or is it not a part of fediverse or something? I am new to this platform, so it would really be great if someone could help me figure this out.
