@kevinrns Is it really relevant to actually sell product if you control the flow of money on a global level? Products can be taxed, stolen, tarrifed, be unappreciated. Real value is in cryptographic numbers and computing power these days. Who still cares about cars or people who want to drive them?
@jcs I just learned that the early Mac b&w art style is regularly immitated by modern indie devs under the label #dithercore. I just finished #obradinn and I wonder of that game could be back ported into a Manhole-style 2D game
@polpo I worked with a prototype that used the 2x5 socket version of these connectors for a programming interface. It broke of twice, taking two pads with it the second time. All it took was some gentle bending and tugging at the quite stiff cables during some reorganising of my lab space. Not a fan.
@sashabilton @jwildeboer All modern OSes and browsers can render the new logo out of the box. That's certainly helpful when millions of websites and apps need to replace the bird and Musk will want that to happen as quickly as possible. If the whole UIX world needs to wait for all those icon set designers to replace the logo it could take months. Now web devs can just use the Unicode.
Since Musk cares for the new logo as much as the old logo, this way the transition at least less of a hassle.
@Sheril Beef is so far out there, that the only worthwhile talking point remaining is why dark chocolate is in second place.
@flexghost I take it that virtue is a bad thing now right up there with compassion, tolerance and humility. Check and check.
