@adamcr oh cool - that's good to hear. The second book is on pre-order at Amazon for August, going to try and get through this one and then see if I want to get the next :)
New (to me) book day today too! Got a copy of TJ Klune's Wolfsong - apparently this was a republish with a new cover. Looking forward to reading this…
Plot points are starting to come together. Baby Cable is in trouble, Polaris is grieving, Illyana's power is on the fritz (or starting to look that way) and by all accounts, Sunfire is about to have an extended stay in Otherworld.
And Jean and Scott…man. I was happy to see them back together (even if I'd finally come around to Scott and Emma before Krakoa era). The way they leave things in this book definitely points to Big Dramatic Things.
@toze @billzismyname yeah, same. I avoided some of his stuff for a while, but came back to the M:I franchise after catching up on the latest movies in time to see Fallout in the theater. That was an insane, and really fun movie.
@motoridersd oh yeah - third Agatha Christie / Hercule Poirot movie from Kenneth Branagh, I'm looking forward to that one :)

Not sure how everyone else's day is going, but the soul crushing anxiety today about…well…*gestures wildly at all the things* has been a nice ‘Welcome back to your routine!’. Ugh. I think I need to go back to bed.
