Person. Sometimes I like computers.

Just got a nice history book for reading this spring. First chapter already contains the quote:

"Machiavelli: WTF?!?!"

πŸ˜„ it's going to be good.

@MicroSFF the other Gods were pissed that He didn't create the humans to do the laundry and the dishes and the other boring stuff, freeing Them to make the art.
Someone actually built a Chrome extension to "Hide annoying Google AI Overviews". LOL. Right now it only has 2,000 users, but I wouldn't be surprised if it reaches millions in a few months when SGE (Search Generative Experience) will be rolled out globally. https://chromewebstore.google.com/detail/hide-google-ai-overviews/neibhohkbmfjninidnaoacabkjonbahn Duckduckgo is also releasing similar tech using AI .

@mcc You can read the pop-ups without being distracted by the page content.
I feel seen.

What about this?

The only moves are rock or paper.
One player has to match. The other player has to mismatch.
If both play rock, or both play paper, player 1 wins. If one plays rock and the other paper, player 2 wins.

I'm sorry, but scissors must go.

Did some research on our favourite topic πŸ˜…

I actually thought about it yesterday, while riding a bus across the brandenburgian jungle.

If you were to really remove one element from RPS, is it possible to redesign it to make a still interesting game?

And I thought, what about a "prisoner's dilemma" remix of rock-paper-nothing? You need to introduce scores to make it work, but now you have 2 options instead of 3, which was the requirement.

We should never have polluted the design of that perfect game with the introduction of scissors.
