#CIT services were happy to visit the #Toolkit team in Manila, Philippines on 14th November 2022. Had a great time discussing possibilities in #Odoo development!

#CIT created a lovely video capturing the Cyber Fortnight event which took place on 2nd December 2022 at Global Public School, Kochi, India. The event was attended by large group of students and teachers from Global Public School, as well as 22 students and teachers from SriSri Ravi Shanker School. The students were inspired by a talk on Open Source Software and coding opportunities, showing particular interest towards the community projects (#UbuntuTouch and #Odoo Community Edition).

#CIT Services was honored to meet with the vice chancellor of Danayanad Sagar University, Dr K N Balasubramanya Murthy. Also at the meeting was Chief Marketing Officer Mr. Srinivas Shinde, and the CEO of e-Drona Mrs Devaki Sahasrabudhe.

#CIT participated with school students on Open Source Software and coding opportunities during Cyber Fortnight, organized by Global Public School in Kochi, India on 2nd December. It was coordinated by GPS Vice Principal Susanna Sunil & her wonderful IT team. Alongside GPS students, 22 students and teachers from SriSri Ravi Shanker School attended. Students were unbelievably enthusiastic, asking intelligent questions during their interactions with Richard, Siddharth & Ranjith.

Kochi, Kerala and participants of Indicon 2022 have shown great enthusiasm towards #CIT´s vision, and some of the projects introduced by CIT (#Odoo Community Edition and #UbuntuTouch). Amazingly, the local media has picked up on this movement gaining momentum. Several articles about CIT related events have hit leading newspapers including a press meet coverage in The Hindu.

At INDICON 2022 inauguration day on November 24th, #CIT inspired enthusiastic students pursing computer engineering in Kochi, India. They were keenly interested in the community projects: #Odoo Comunity Edition and #UbuntuTouch. Students eagerly signed up for the OpenUp code quest, displaying their strong contribution mentality towards open source community. CIT continues to raise awareness of open source opportunities to students around the world.

During AKSC (All Kerala Student Congress 2022) on October 29th ,CIT speakers introduced open source and two community projects to over 350 students: #Odoo (open source ERP) and #UbuntuTouch (operating systems for mobiles). The panel included Richard Varghese (#CIT CEO), Jay Vora (Serpent Consulting Services CEO), Alfred Neumayer (Ubuntu Touch Architect & Sr.Developer), and Raoul Kramer (BetaBreak / Ubports Foundation Project Manager) among other inspirational open source enthusiasts.
