@asymco interesting video about a new “e-bike” concept in rural areas (in French). The creator says the e-bike can do 200km with 1€ of electricity. Also, he reminds us that driving a 1.5 tonne vehicle to move a 80kg passenger is nonsensical as 95% of the fuel cost are used to move the vehicle, not the passenger. The video shows that this concept could help better commute in rural areas (as he says, urban cities have transportation alternatives but not rural areas…)

The shooting lasted less than two minutes. There were HUNDREDS of armed and trained police officers ONSITE at this shooting.

And STILL 22 people were shot and 7 have life threatening injuries, with at least one person killed.

Clearly a “good guy with a gun” is NOT a solution to these mass shootings.
