I made a relief of my kitty in a box. It is a relief tool from Bambu labs that you upload a picture and select parameters that probably uses AI of some kind. I really want to see how 3d printing could make custom books who may need more tactile input to participate in shared reading. They are so easy to create they could be used in making grade level content more accessible like a relief of a significant historical artifact or a graph from a research paper.

My latest Maker Assistive Technology project. They're tactile symbols designed by ActiveAccessEdu on Thingverse and already used by this particular communicator. I scaled these down as they'll be velcroed onto RFID tags that can activate a communication device. This is one of the communication strategies used for the intended communicator, but the other strategies are sometimes inaccessible. #accessibility #3dprinting It was fun to set up and print. I'll miss this project.

These turtles like to cross the road twice a year, so I like to help them on their way when I spot them . They aren't particularly grateful for the help, but I don't mind. I work quickly and quietly to hopefully reduce stress, but I can't help but smile at their little limbs wiggling as I carry them. 😊 #animals

Early Wednesdog (or at least in my time zone). This lovely dog played so nicely with my boys. The younger one is more hesitant around dogs, but he got comfortable quick. We eventually wore sweet doggo out, but he kept an eye on my youngest even when while tired.

This filament is coming for some kpop 3d prints (in between my assistive tech projects). It is time to make light stick holders! #3dprinting #kpop

More concert prep. I was inspired by a cowl like necklace that Felix was wearing and I was curious if I could imitate the effect with 3d printed “fabrics”. There are way more delicate and sophisticated ways to make 3d fabric I think, so this is beginner friendly. It didn’t quite have enough so I glued on the pearl-like beads and some clear beads which catch the light. I just have to decide what color to put on the string. We will see if I like the final product.

I have red filament in my cart, but I actually like this fancy filament my son got. Is this color Stray kids enough? I am buying new filament anyway because I’m almost out. But this project might be perfect for finishing up this color. But we will also find other uses. So no downside either way. There is a spot for a magnet in the back. #straykids
