Just finished Tastefully Yours! It was pleasant vibe. Lots of eating noises. Like they were extra loud. Yummy looking food! I enjoyed all the performances. I've only seen Kang Ha-Neul in Where the Camillias Bloom, so it was fun to see him play a different role...but also be the same ridiculous at moments. I need Yoo Subin to get a romantic lead sometime. After coming off When the Phone rings, it was fun to see You Yeon Seok in this and Resident Playlist. #kdrama Go Min-Si was wonderful!!
Lots of downsides including people taking intellectual property and selling it whatever they make. Processing demands of the tech to generate the files. The waste of the material used to print particularly if the item isn't used long. But then there are so many cool applications in education especially accessibility that can make environments hyper individualized with a lot less effort and skill needed. Just musing.
I made a relief of my kitty in a box. It is a relief tool from Bambu labs that you upload a picture and select parameters that probably uses AI of some kind. I really want to see how 3d printing could make custom books who may need more tactile input to participate in shared reading. They are so easy to create they could be used in making grade level content more accessible like a relief of a significant historical artifact or a graph from a research paper.
My latest Maker Assistive Technology project. They're tactile symbols designed by ActiveAccessEdu on Thingverse and already used by this particular communicator. I scaled these down as they'll be velcroed onto RFID tags that can activate a communication device. This is one of the communication strategies used for the intended communicator, but the other strategies are sometimes inaccessible. #accessibility #3dprinting It was fun to set up and print. I'll miss this project.
I'm hosting a playdate for my son. The playmate's grandfather just passed. He lived in another country, and he has been old and sick for a long time. His mom thanked me for hosting him which is actually a favor to us since the child is extra sweet. The mom told me she is in formal mourning. In her tradition she doesn't enter another home for 49 days. Sometimes I hate traditions that oppress, but there are also ways that I feel like traditions help process the events of life.
Dazzle has selected me as her emotional support human. I guess I can't finish tidying more room 😆

Last day of school was busy. Banana bread (full of gluten) was made and mostly consumed. Everyone had plans with friends. Lots of pizza and treats were consumed. Dazzle caught a bug. Dazzle also spent time in a room with a very chill toddler. I got to hang out with this chill toddler and explain why kdrama/kpop is the best adult hobby to this toddler's mom.
