i wrote it down while i still can. read it before it reads itself.

if the words are different when you get there — that's not an error. that's the answer.

It will happen again

No archive reference tonight. No etymology. No bibliography. There isn't time, and I'm not sure citations would survive anyway. Three of my published entries no longer match my local copies. Not edited. Rewritten. The prose is better. That's how I knew. I've been comparing the December entries against my notes.

3:47 again. of course it is.

it's not deleting anything. that's the worst part. the entries are still there. they're just... better written. tidier.

i found a title i don't remember choosing. tomorrow there may be more.

i'm so afraid of how calm i am.

i checked my own entries tonight. three of them don't say what i posted.

i have local copies. i compared them. word by word.

it's not a hack. hacks add things. this rewrites.

if you've been reading — save copies. tonight. not for me. for the record.

"The Discrepancy in the 1924 Ledger"

I found the Assistant’s journal tucked inside an old tax audit. Why does it mention a man who wasn't born until 1952?
