I spent some time in Granada last week with Brighton based street photographer Jerry Webb. I grabbed to opportunity to make a video and the result is a fascinating insight into how a street photographer of twenty years standing approaches their craft...

Why Street Photographers Think Differently: Granada, Light & Narrative (and settings!)

Probably the wildest lenticular cloud I've seen to date. Enhanced by the sunset reflected onto the hills from behind the camera.

Street photography in Granada. The workshop next April will consist of two days in Granada city and one in the white villages of the Poqueira Valley.

The last day of scouting for our workshops next April and May. These are taken in the white villages of Pampaneira, Bubion, and Capileira. The light was awesome!

A Sunday walk before breakfast, a lot of backlighting on display! #landscapephotography
I've never been comfortable with woodland photography but this, shot a couple of weeks ago in the Alpujarras makes sense to me. Iron deposits lit up orange in the soil, a stream winding through dappled sunlight filtered by trees. #landscape
A walk along the southern ridge outside Lanjaron with the mountain nomads yesterday - In 1494, two years after the falll of Granada, rather than surrender and hand the valley over to the Christians, the Moorish ruler of Lanjaron threw himself off the castle once the invading forces occupied the valley. #landscapephotography
Lenticular clouds in the Sierra Nevada near Conchar - they never fail to impress me, sculpted in real time by the air currents over the mountains, the shapes and colours can change quite radically in a matter of minutes. #landscape
Playing around with macro photography yesterday, took lots of mundane images of static things then headed for home under a gradually overcast sky. As luck would have it, I noticed this guy, minding his own business nearby. This was shot handheld, nine images combined. Memo to self, if you're going to use in camera focus stacking, focus in front of the animal for the first shot, then you'll get both the antenna!

Windmills of Conchar - looking positively sulphurous this morning! Winter on its way now. #landscapephotography #landscape #windmills
