Mistrust leads us to spy on others with our telecommunication technology. Ideological convictions lead us to use media to influence public opinion to follow our ideology as the indisputable truth. Walls are used to prevent people to lock them into our systems and when they try to defect to another system, we threaten them with violence, not only towards them, but also towards the people around them.
