My wife had an awful cough for weeks when she asked me to take her to the hospital. She doesn't like hospitals. It was a very bad lung infection and they rushed her to surgery. Pneumonia, made worse by previously-unknown Lupus? I spent three weeks with her in the hospital and it was very hard.

We have a long recovery ahead, but she's home now. Just in time for me to give her this beautiful piece from Amanda Cifaldi.

I love you, Nicole. Thank you for your strength, thank you for your everything

@marcoarment Yeah, I’m generally OK with SwiftUI layout defaults (especially when it comes to handling things like dynamic type). It’s faster to build AND maintain.

The issues that kill me are with the layout process. Views not appearing correctly because of bugs: and not being able to know why because the debugging sucks. After hours of struggle you eventually say “fuck it” or pull a feature.

@_Davidsmith could be a fun Under the Radar topic… 👀

I have watched this clip of Flea twenty times today. I feel this in my bones.

“This is our purpose. We're humble, we're students, we care, we want to grow, we want to learn.”

“Not every artist feels that.”

“Every good one does.”

TFW Xcode's "Report a Bug" causes it to beachball.
I have been told that Elon Musk has liked the most recent “best feature apple has ever made” meme tweet. This is a good start. Next up, he should start liking the idea of being a decent person. https://twitter.com/wavyyswag/status/1622205826113966082?s=61&t=NX530dHPr0OISXDMDxTuow

Just came across an npm module who's description was:

"Markup without JSX"

I mean… isn't… isn't that… HTML?

TIL `git fetch origin main:main` will fetch updates *and* apply them to your local main branch, even when on another branch.

No more checking out main, pulling changes, checking out feature branch, and rebasing on main for me!

Ivory for Mac first impressions:
Eagles score a touchdown. I go to the kitchen. Amy: “You should’ve stayed out here. They made the extra point — you haven’t seen that in a while.”
