@stephanie @chrisbegley my condolences to you when you eventually finish it and there is no more of it to read.
@casseagull Strange favourites list this year, but heavily historical fiction dominated. Twilight Territory and Demon Copperfield the two best books I read. Other faves: Shanghai (a spy-ish thriller in post-war China), Our Woman in Moscow (another spy-ish book), The Devil Makes Three (well told story in Haiti), Julia (a retelling of 1984 from Julia's POV), Station Eleven (a 2011 post pandemic apocalyptic book),
Some people who voted for the Leopards Eating My Faces party, faces currently being eaten by leopards, unhappy with choices made by the Leopards Eating My Face party.

This is an experiment. Please boost.

Here's the idea: This post is going first to my followers, then, if they boost it, to other people. This domain has been registered for only this experiment. I should see in my web server's logs when mastodon instances start crawling the site for info. Then maybe also some curious humans.

I just want to play with my monitoring a bit :)

There is hope for @hallenbeck yet... Di Marzio reporting that David has told his agent he wants to play in the PL.

Given Rucharlison's issues, I wonder if Spurs might try out a January offer? Although I think Lille better off keeping him to make CL than accepting €10 million or whatever.

I have questions
@jon curious if this Greek Cross-Border plan is pie in the sky or likely to happen? (Alexandroupolis to Bulgaria)

Upgrading of Ormenio – Alexandroupoli / Frontier with Bulgaria

The project involves the renovation of infrastructure – trackwork in located stretches of the line, as well as the installation of electrification – signalling – ETCS Level 1 along the entire Alexandroupolis – Ormenio – Bulgarian borders line.

I shared Murray's love of Fluevog footwear. Once, during a Senate break, I took a picture of my small Fluevog-clad foot next to his enormous one. I have looked all day, without success, for that photo. It seems to me the perfect found metaphor. Murray Sinclair leaves such large shoes to fill. May his memory be for a blessing to all who knew and loved him - and for everyone who never had the chance to meet him, but whose life was shaped by his work and his words. #MurraySinclair #SenateofCanada
Spurs thoughts for the international break.... Seeing as this is Davies last season, will Gareth Bale play in his testimonial (yes, right?)
