@what @typhlosion Have you considered SteelSeries? I've been using Xai/Sensei RAW mouses for like 7+ years now. Super light, durable, and simple.
@strypey @tbolt Ah, by "with static HTML5/CSS3", I thought you meant the users would be writing them.
@strypey GitHub Pages? For a single homepage, you could just edit the files directly in the GitHub web interface and sidestep git/command line entirely. Free hosting and supports custom domains.
@baldur Not crashing is better! I agree, I think I'm liking Tooty more than the official. Next up: try "toot" on your Chromebook": https://github.com/ihabunek/toot. Might need to install Linux to run it, but I bet it won't crash 😁
@baldur Have you tried Tooty? https://tooty.mastodon.cloud/ I wonder if it would fare any better on a Chromebook.
@TheAdmin Just tried it out and it feels great! Not sure if you already have a bug for this or not, but a lot of the profile icons are trying to fetch "/avatars/original/missing.png" which is 404-ing.
@bea at least the instance is aptly named 😁
@deadsuperhero @TheAdmin I'm guessing this is a separate frontend that sits "on top" of the official Mastodon backend by consuming the HTTP and Streaming APIs
@TheAdmin Those stacked notifications look great!
