Hi. It would help me a lot if I could get a HEAP of responses to this poll. The goal is to get a decent enough sample so results are predictive of the wider user-base right now. I dislike asking for boosts but this is SCIENCE... or something. (Thanks.)

Made it through TWO catless days and I got a lot done. Including completely de-cattind 3 rooms, throwing stuff away, & randomly repotting all but one of my orchids.

Yep. That's as good as it CAN be right now. I'll take it.

Finally bought a couple of acers for the garden as a sort of boot up the bum/cat commemoration/incentive to get out there and dig holes, however slowly.

I need to seriously do some garden planning.

Today I've stripped Po's front bedroom, thrown away all the huge cat blankets and her litter tray & laundered everything. Put away her living room bed. It feels weird that there is nowhere in this room, no soft little place I've made for a cat to lie in. But I have to get used to it, and today is a good day to start.

It is very weird being the Big Monkey with no Little Cat.

I couldn't find anything about this in English.

But summarizing it, the article says that during the pandemic lockdowns in Santiago de Compostela, there was a chance to study pavement temperature. It was discovered that in places where the grass and moss was not removed, the temperature was up to 20 degrees lower than in places where it was.

More moss and grass make our physical spaces more liveable in these times of #ClimateCrisis.

If you are minded to do so, you can go to the Apple or Google stores and report Twitter as failing to comply with their standards of use. Hate speech is one of them, but to be fair just about any box can be ticked. It only takes a few minutesโ€ฆbut oh what joy if it results in the Apps being withdrawn ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿป๐Ÿ˜‡๐Ÿ˜‚

1. Hoo boy he had watched the Stop Making Sense video a few times, huh?

2. My ex husband's resemblance to young Peter Gabriel never explicitly struck me at the time but .. yeah let's be honest it was definitely there.
