next week i’ll have been running for a year. i just passed 500 miles, the distance from cleveland to nashville. i ran 33 races including two half marathons. i don’t like to dwell in pride, but i’m proud of this.

running healed my spirit. i don’t know how to explain or quantify that, but it did. and i couldn’t have done it without GLP-1 drugs. i know because i’ve tried many times over 20+ years.

all that to say, GLP-1s are stigmatized and out of reach for too many people. i hope that changes.
