Have you met Tama and Yui?

judging online information quality based on site where it appeared: a comprehensive guide

- "How To (...)" in the title, cookie banners, lots of side-information written in a way that wastes your time: SEO slop, don't bother. You might as well make a wild guess, same likelyhood it'll be correct

- official docs for $x, autogenerated by a rube-goldberg machine and automagically pushed into whatever-pages by a fully-skidoodled, post-quantum CI pipeline: describes everything, except the exact fact you're looking for.

- no HTTPS, tilde in the name, DNS with 4+ dots, likely hosted on some dusty uni server, white background with absolutely no CSS: one of the best resources on the subject. you question how it's even still online

- site titled "Garry's blog", default wordpress favicon, last update either previous month or 12 years ago: golden. crystal-clear exposition, good examples and screenshots framed so well you don't even need arrows pointing places. likely used as a cheat-sheet daily by everyone in the community

Today I stepped away from my laptop for 20 and filled some holes in a wall.

Tonight I finished #Stray on #Switch with a #cat on my lap. Fitting, and a pleasure.

I always felt awkward or self-important to move away from people wearing fragrance. I go out of my way to use #fragranceFree products where possible.

I remember once leaving early from some social thing because someone was smoking a clove cigarette and it really affected me. And now I know why.

Anyway, I feel strangely vindicated.

Other surprise sources:
• toilet paper, tissues, etc
• plywood, furniture, cutting boards, etc
• clothes
• gas stoves, wood burners, etc

Over a year ago I discovered that I'm #allergic to #formaldehyde. It is in pretty much _everything_ and is so hard to avoid: it goes under many names and is often released over time by #preservatives.

However, I only recently learned that is why I am sensitive to fragrances, too. Even if you check the label this #allergen is rarely listed, instead hidden under the "#fragrance" label. Other times formaldehyde isn't even an ingredient but it's created when you spray a product.

Yaaay, we're going to #EMFCamp! cc @tom @alifeee ... probably lots of others
