What surprised me about CreepyDates isn’t the romance.

It’s how much personality the characters have.

People aren’t obsessing over Toby, Slenderman, Jeff, or Ben because they’re attractive.

They’re obsessing because after a few chapters they actually feel like characters instead of internet creepypasta icons.

You can tell the game was made by someone who genuinely grew up in this fandom.

Downloaded CreepyDates as a joke.

Now I'm emotionally invested in a Slenderman route and waiting for the next chapter like it's a season finale.

The comments on CreepyDates are basically people fighting over Toby, Jeff, and Slenderman.

After playing it… I get it.

Been obsessed with psychological/yandere visual novels lately 😭

Some of them are genuinely unforgettable — especially the ones that blur the line between love, obsession, and control.

Also found a browser-playable version of You Make The House a Home:

Survive Min genuinely became one of the most memorable horror VNs I’ve played recently 😭🖤
The game traps you in a room with Min — an unpredictable entity who can feel affectionate one moment and terrifying the next. Every interaction feels emotionally unstable, and even small dialogue choices can completely change the outcome.

The atmosphere, expressions, and yandere horror elements are incredibly well done.

And you start asking yourself:
👉 Is this love… or control?
That’s what makes this kind of game different.
It doesn’t scare you with noise — it makes you uncomfortable with truth.
I’ve been exploring more of these “psychological horror” and visual novel-style games lately.
They hit in a completely different way.
If you’re curious, I put together a place where you can play them instantly (no downloads):

what kind of horror actually stays with you?#games

I played a small horror game recently — and it stuck with me longer than expected.

You’re not being chased.
There’s no monster jumping out.

Instead, you’re in a relationship.

At first, it feels warm.
Someone cares about you, checks on you, wants to be close.

Then slowly… things shift.

They decide what you should do.
They question your choices.
They make you feel like leaving would hurt them.
