re_chief@BasicAppleGuy iMessage really lacks in features/functionality compared to other messaging services I've used. No way to archive messages, no custom filters for messages, the reactions (e.g. HaHa, !!, etc.) aren't as flexible as just being able to react with whatever emoji you want, and, of course, if I'm messaging an Android user it's like I'm suddenly messaging in 2007. It's no wonder most of the world uses WhatsApp & etc. instead

What if your Timeline looked like iMessage. A normal timeline confuses me to no end because everything is out of context.
My experiment, Ebou, is a Mastodon client that looks like iMessage. Conversations are grouped by friends and sorted by recent postings.
It is super basic right now, but this already feels much more natural to me 😀
