I think about setting up a linux desktop with main partition of btrfs. What should I use for snapshots?

I feel like google did not think about real tools to help people beside make as hard as possible to use 3rd party software.
No anti virus (that windows has it), no isolation tools, app verifier, only google protect but not sure about it (is it enough) .

I can feel the issue of avoiding people being tricked but with them I have some doubts.
Also why do I need to use biometrics?

Now that I see how Open AI is having some hard time [1] figuring out to to justify the biggest investment in the last decade [2-3]. Will it be worth the massive valuation [4] ?
