Yesterday, a new cafe opened on Caledonian Road by the name "K.C. Continental Stores". I looked up the name online. To my surprise, I learned that there had been an italian deli by the name on the same spot between from 1964 till 2015 when it closed down due to the owner retiring. It had a nice cosy guitar social business recently, which moved to spitalfields. The new owners restored the store's outside in a modern fashion that nods to Leo Giordiani's original KCCS.

#Pixelix is a #Pixelfed client. I was sad to see it's £1.69 on Google Play. Today I saw it was free on #fdroid ! That's a great incentive for people to move to F-droid. Love the spirit here, thank you @daniebeler .

After using it for a couple hours, Pixelix is also SUPER NICE to use. Instantly my favourite Pixelfed client. I suggest people give it a try.

5. Not bluesky. I see the value in their new protocol. But it will be very hard to push for its adoption. While fediverse is thriving right here, creating a new protocol won't do us any good. It is the xkcd standards comic. The first two comments here are worth a look https://news.ycombinator.com/item?id=35881905
