The Canon EOS Utility app is pretty dreadful, takes ages to download images over WiFi (possibly fault of the R50) and sometimes the app just closes unexpectedly! Sticking to SD Card reader for now. My 32GB card corrupted last night trying to open files, lost some photos I will never get back, sad :(

Got a 10-18mm RF-S lens for my Canon R50 to go with the kit 18-45mm one - it's a game-changer, photos and videos far less 'zoomed in' now!

Testing the Canon R50 mirrorless camera for the first time! - I definitely think I need a macro lens (and a wide angle one to compensate for the cropped sensor), and it doesn't take photos in certain light levels, hope there's an option to disable that!

Got myself one of those little component testers/identifiers from eBay - really useful! This thing can measure resistors, capacitors, BJTs, Mosfets and diodes, as well as measuring capacitor ESR. Works as an LCR meter too! #electronics
Got a Rode Wireless Go II mic set from Amazon for my upcoming Canon R50 camera, I will see how this compares to the kit mic supplied in the box. But this will allow me to move around and still be able to be audible on the video!
Just received a CHK Wickeltechnik 🇩🇪 12v, 18VA mains transformer from eBay. Think I will use this in a project to measure mains voltage and frequency. Open circuit voltage is about 14.5v. #electronics
