@azzageddi As the son-in-law of Salvadoran refugees who fled the terror of the civil war there, I especially love and appreciate this story.

I’ve spent almost all day in the hospital (well, hospitals*) w/ my 11yo. We’ll likely be here another couple of days. Finally have a diagnosis, + it is, in the doctor’s words, “life altering.”

But it’s manageable and she’s going to be okay. Breathing a sigh of relief while also struggling to keep it together.
