Took a group of American Studies students (and a few colleagues) on a walking tour of BYU’s statues this afternoon, talking about history + memory.

In spite of the weather (we got snowed on), we had a great time. Thoughtful questions from students, some laughter, + (hopefully) some critical reflection about what and who we choose to commenorate and why.
