I've been some degree of sad since we got a diagnosis of Rusty's cancer about a year ago, and it's just followed me around for that whole year as I watched both dogs decline as the year went on, and then we had to say goodbye to them each in turn.
I'm really tired of being sad, but I also don't quite see when it stops. Not yet at least. *sigh*
