Peter CohenReading this piece infuriated me. If you followed me from Twitter, you likely won't be surprised: since my podcasting days I've been critical of Paul Thurrott's takes on, well, just about everything.
Thurrott claims that his Mastodon interaction is practically non-existent. If you check his presence here, you'll find he follows barely anyone and hasn't posted much either. Then he wonders why no one cares. Must be that Mastodon is failing, not because he sucks at it.

Tweets look really good when you send them in Messages on iOS/macOS. Mastodon posts… don’t. So I built a little tool that makes them much nicer to look at:
Add ?to={any Mastodon post URL} to the end of that domain and when you send it to a friend, you get the nice looking preview. Of course the page makes it easy to paste a URL in. And there’s a Shortcut to make it even easier on iOS or macOS.
