favorite fun thing: Only Murders in the Building
and I’ll also throw in Reservation Dogs as something I was incredibly emotionally affected by.
I’m also yet to watch Mythic Quest, but that might shake this all up.
what are your faves?
I am quite obsessed with the TV series The Bear. First thing I watched when Disney+ became available here, and so I’ve seen the whole thing twice in the last week and a half or so. If you’re a fan, I’ve also made a playlist of all the songs on it.

@ben in my experience (out here in the Philippines where we elected the son of a human rights violating dictator) way too many tech people claim to be “just about the business” and “don’t want to be involved in politics” and as a result, that fence-sitting and standing on the sidelines has led to an erosion of our democracy. Tech people “not being political” is just enabling the powerful to take advantage. So 100% agree with your sentiments.
I feel like part of my onboarding and acclimatizing to Mastodon will be trying to separate myself and recover from these other platforms.
I’m still hanging around in them. I go in hoping to see friends or cool stuff, but instead find really toxic, horrible posts…which I can’t not look at. So yeah gotta detox, gotta deprogram from those things. Then we can come in here clean and see how to contribute.
