Everyone, I have an idea:
We should create a global holiday:
Backup Day. Everyone gets a day off to stay at home and make sure that all important files are backed up. At the end of the day you have a family dinner and share a scary data loss story to scare the kids
Edit: as some have pointed out, there already is a Backup Day! It is March 31st so I expect no less then a large celebration on @fosstodon next year. Happy Backup day everyone!

this is an emergency
i have been battling with this issue for three days now and i feel like i have no other options
so i logged into my paypal 3 days ago and i saw that my debit card that i have been using for a long time to transfer money from my paypal...is no longer "eligible" and disappeared from my available transfer options. it's marked as non-eligible.
i have added other cards i own and they are not eligible either. i talked to tech support and they gave me nothing. i talked to my bank and they said that the problem is most likely on paypal's end since their cards were always eligible for transfers from paypal. i want to give up.
does anybody have a single idea how to help me? i have money stuck on my paypal, and if i won't be able to retrieve it, well. i am fucked i guess.
or, at the very least, please tell me other methods for me to gather money in my mutual aid posts because i have been posting my paypal and kofi links and this is not going to work anymore i guess.
(obligatory P.S. - stripe is not working in my country)

It's also quite normal that kids walk to school by their own! 💪
Or play outside without a parent constantly looking at them..
Here in the Netherlands it would be kinda suuper creepy if you constantly hang out around kids actually
