We're still here but are evaluating what happens with Twitter and some of the newer social platforms (including this one) before possibly leaving Twitter and putting a lot of time and effort into something new. We did setup a Threads account today.
Sadly, the tool we were using to crosspost our Tweets here stopped working in January but we'll see if we can find another. Thanks for following us here.

1130a: Light rain in the DC area should taper off this afternoon. Still tracking a chance for another round late tonight that could produce a few snowflakes but don’t see potential for much more than a dusting, if that. We’ll refine this forecast later.

To the southeast of Las Vegas, it's snowing.

Meanwhile, New York, Philly, Baltimore and DC -- which are in the 50s to near 60 today -- haven't seen this much snow all winter.

The city has yet to see its first snow accumulation of winter. It's now the latest into a season without snow on record.
