1130a: Light rain in the DC area should taper off this afternoon. Still tracking a chance for another round late tonight that could produce a few snowflakes but don’t see potential for much more than a dusting, if that. We’ll refine this forecast later.

To the southeast of Las Vegas, it's snowing.

Meanwhile, New York, Philly, Baltimore and DC -- which are in the 50s to near 60 today -- haven't seen this much snow all winter.

It's already into the mid-50s in DC midday and we could near 60 this afternoon. Mildest day of the week, by far. Enjoy it. Some legit cold arriving Friday.
