honestly mastdon has been pretty liberating. the more time I spend on here and away from twitter, the more I realize that the most amplified tweets on twitter were often the most sensational and least substantive. also the amount of ads on twitter nowadays is really jarring - getting a break from that is reason enough to get off the platform. it was like every 5th tweet was an ad for some idle game
guess it all makes sense. Elon had previously banned accounts for tweets like this
