I'm not sure where to begin, but we'll get there. I went to a friend's house for a bonfire, and you showed up. I have to admit, my impression of you was stacked against you from the start. You were arrogant, loud, and hypocritical. But that was just the opening round. You started talking about your experience in Afghanistan, and bragged about "receiving" a body of one of our fallen.

Don't despair. Fires are really good for forests. As long as environmental restoration professionals are given the budget, access, and time, everything will be fine.
