I started working through https://fullstackopen.com/en and I think it's pretty well made. I don't know if it covers automating emails, but the rest should be there. There is also a support telegram group, but I doubt you get much help if you don't ask for something regarding the exercises

I never tried it and don't no much about it, but these is cython which translates Python to c. Maybe there is something similar in other languages? While cython is probably not as good as starting with c, its probably better than Python.

I agree with your reason about c and functional languages, i'd probably rather choose not to code instead of putting much more effort into it. That the c course at uni was pretty bad didn't help either...

I don't think so ๐Ÿค”

I once managed to wipe my USB stick with Linux on it instead of the harddisk in my laptop, but I think this happened when installing arch and shouldn't be so easy to do when installing Ubuntu :) and it could have been easy averted with reading what was on screen๐Ÿ˜‚

Self explanatory properly not, but there are tutorials online. 'Dual boot' and 'partition table' would be starting points.

But it is really easy to break something there.

Please don't explain timetravel to me with fancy science words.
It doesn't make sense and thus kills my suspension of disbelief ๐Ÿ™„

It gets weirder: Heimlich does mean something like sneaky, secret, covert ๐Ÿง
Etymology is weird, it seems to come from something like homely/familiar
