When Russia tried to shutter the Ukrainian electric grid or natural gas network, the US screamed it wasn’t humanitarian and per the rules of war, but doesn’t condemn Israel for turning off the electrical grid and water system in Gaza. Water is literally essential for life. A humanitarian corridor is basically justification of this war crime.
And those of you that believe in small government, can rest assured your taxes will never go down even if we eliminate the cost of education…it will not happen.
Like everything in this country, we sell it out. Vouchers will most certainly exacerbate a class system in education. Privatization of schools will allow for the manipulation of the system itself through legal separation of socioeconomic classes and thus the education attainment and prestige of education.
Education has a significant cost, but may be the most important money we invest in our country.
