Yesterday, I watched a video of a sitting US Senator being thrown to the ground and cuffed by fed goons for asking questions of the fed official he has direct oversight authority over.
Within minutes, I'd gotten DOZENS of texts from Dems and Dem orgs asking for $5-$50 to "fight fascism."
That's it. "Are you terrified that your country is slipping into fascism? Pay me."
Once you realize that there is no master in heaven judging you / rooting for you / challenging you / instructing you / keeping your permanent record, the only reasonable course of action is kindness. To choose otherwise is to create suffering.

Increases in the power of workers are the only thing that will ever lead to increases in our standard of living that won't get absorbed by the parasites.
If you ever wonder why our standard of living has stagnated, this is why: rent-seeking expands to absorb all available economic surplus. If it expands too much, that causes productivity to fall because people get pissed off. If it expands too little, our standard of living rises temporarily, but it will always decline back to the mean.
