What were (or are) your biggest challenges while learning JavaScript? Some things that come to mind for me and my own experience...
- Tutorials that assume I already knew a bunch of stuff
- Lots of `foo` and `bar`
- Trying to build things that were too big, getting stuck, and giving up
- Passive/aggressive or incomplete answers on StackOverflow
- Lots of "just use {tool}" type tutorials
- Anything that starts with "Just... {open up terminal and}"

Spent yesterday and today at a friend's lake house and I did the water skiing thing. Haven't done it in about a decade or so but I was up! I did tricks! I jumped the boat's wake! I'm sore AF and my hands can't grip worth a damn…BUT I DID IT!
