As a sometime Londoner, there's something very amusing about seeing Kitbash 3D's model of London with the underground entrances marked “Public Subway” ... but apparently Transport for London defends their trademarks fiercely, so I guess they figured that they needed to add two little points to the sign and not use the word "Underground” in order to avoid litigation.

e-on Software, makers of the extremely powerful Vue landscape renderer, have been acquired by another company and have decided to stop developing their software. They have now made Vue and its companion application Plant Factory free for anyone to use.

It's too bad that the software will no longer receive updates, but if you're interested in making #3D art, this is a chance to get some world-class software for free.
