Getting a bit fed up with PocketCasts for Android. It is more frequently losing my place in a podcast. It is most evident while listening to many of the TWiT shows. The biggest frustration is with This Week in Tech, the episode will just stop playing midway through as if the episode was over

Long story short, are there any suggestions for podcast players on Android? I am a pretty basic user. TYIA

@jr Right on! 👍

Looking forward to an upcoming newsletter on the topic 😜

I really enjoy your content btw. Always look forward to your work!

@jr I'm sure Google is taking their time with this roll out. Is it web based? Bing requires a whole separate app.

How is the experience of Bard compared to Bing and ChatGPT? Clearly it is hilarious!

I am on the wait-list for Bard, still waiting for my invite email!

Happy birthday! Enjoy the gaming! Playing anything specific?

Agreed. The author's (valid) concerns appear to be with the selection of texts, as well as the poor introdution and misguided messages of these texts. There is also mention of phonics being too scripted and rigid, lacking a focus on individual student needs. It is important to keep in mind that phonics instruction is one piece of effective reading instruction. For example, exploring complex texts and a variety of genres provide opportunity to pull in student specific needs.

Glad to give you something to put on your to-do list for the holidays 😂
@dbroberg Thank you. I will look into this. Right now, all devices in the home are able to talk Google Home. This is how most of the automation and interaction of devices happens.
@jost80 Great. This was going to be my first move. Good to see I'm on the right track 👍 Thanks!

As I continue to accumulate more and more IoT devices, I am starting to rethink my network setup. I want to utilize the guest network features of my router, but was looking for advice on best practices. Devices include various Google Home devies, Phillips Hue, and various smart outlets, plugs, switches, etc

Can anyone provide some direction and suggestions on how to best network all these devices?
