This is a place of great honor and highly esteemed deeds are commemorated here

Hi, I’m Bridget a 40 something transgender antifascist anarchist in western New York(state, not city)

I'm currently in the process of moving from @bridget so if you're getting a follow request from me right now, I probably followed you on that account and I would appreciate if you approve it.

A few years ago when I saw older sci-fi where they were using some kinds of physical media, writing on paper, or reading physical books I thought it seemed dated and a little, but now I’m thinking it might be very prescient

I've seen this idea a few times now. Billionaires are building bunkers and survival cities for climate change. And plan to rule the aftermath?

I think the idea that enough people might survive to allow any form of civilization to rebuild itself when billions dead; all societies collaps; it's 150f/65c in the day; and half the oxygen has boiled off in the atmosphere?

The billionaires aren't building bunkers, they're building pyramid-like tombs full of tech that won't help when we're all dead.

Its the evening before pride month, I better get the programmer socks hung over the fireplace
I’m going to assume the Venn diagram between people mad at no LLM policies in open source projects and the people who were mad when open source projects starting adding codes of conduct is a circle
It may not exist, but these days I can’t trust not finding things on search engines to rule anything out.

I’m going to ask for recommendations for software, but it’s very specific, so please read the post fully for you reply guy very wrong answers.

Is there a web based SFTP client I can install on a Linux server(we’ll call this server A) that can connect to another Linux computer(we’ll call this server B) and move software between server a and server b. It’s very important that this is web based and I can access it with my laptop, but the files being downloaded should never go through the laptop in any way. I’m aware I can ssh into server and use scp to copy files to and from server b, but that is exactly what I’m trying to avoid.

A web based ui accessed my laptop that directly copies files between server an and server b without the files ever touching the laptop.

The best time to plant a tree was twenty years ago, but the second best time is today, and the third best time is April 12th, 2037
Far too large a portion of my insect and fish knowledge comes from Animal Crossing
The hike this morning was fun, but I forgot to take my allergy medicine this morning so I wasn’t able to until nearly 1, so instead of prevention, I’m sitting here waiting for a stuffy head and sneezing to clear up, also it seems more likely to make me tired if I take it when I’m already suffering from allergies rather than reupping my daily dose before anything gets bad
Some of the dumbasses are basically like “well I’ve never *seen* any guys in white sheets around here, so there must not be a problem”
