The weekend-before preparations were the one time I was invited (summoned?) to the venue to see Steve run through his final rehearsals before the keynote. @donmelton and I were there to provide tech support if anything went wrong. Fortunately, the Safari stuff went smoothly, and Steve played one of the funniest pranks I ever saw.
