I've long believed that AGI is more about sociology than individual effort. It’s language doing the "thinking” and humans / Transformers are just a substrate where language can play.
Just like my PC is a substrate for Microsoft word. Saying that my PC is processing words is less relevant than saying that Word is doing the word processing. In the same way, saying that English is doing some reasoning is more relevant than saying that DeepSeek R1 is reasoning and way more relevant than saying my GPU is reasoning.
