I didn't create @pixelfed for myself, and despite my best intentions, I can be wrong sometimes.
My recent post about app onboarding has received both positive and negative feedback, and I'd like to explore alternative solutions to this with feedback from @liaizon, @feditips and anyone else before we proceed.

Yes, it's true that there's no algorithm for them to feed.
But letting people you know that you like what they're sharing, that you agree with them, that they're not just shouting into an empty abyss? That matters.

When Racecar turned 24 she renegotiated her contract. Once in a while she was going to poop wherever she "damn well pleases."
And she was sick to death of bathing all the damn time so I'd better bathe her once in a while if I didn't want her to smell like gerbils.
