KinoA few weeks back I had decided to get back into social media. FB, Ig and YT are filled with ads. LinkedIn, is alright for work. #Twitter (I refuse to call it otherwise), is the equivalent of a public plastic toilet after a 3-day festival. Wtihout the fun of the festival itself. Did not change with #elon at the steerig wheel. It became even worse in the name of "freedom of speech".

One important factor missing in analyses such as this is how improved weather forecasting and communication save lives and help protecting properties. This factor will counter other factors such as increased wealth and population. Another factor is whether there have been such big demographic and economic changes over the last 10 years that can explain the dramatic rise in costs since 2014...
