Until I looked into it just now, I had thought that windows 7 had a longer supported lifespan than windows 10, but it really didn't because windows 10 is over ten years old now. I skipped 8/8.1 because it looked ugly and now I'll be skipping 11 because it looks ugly *and* because I resent being strong-armed into buying a new CPU I don't need
some minecraft modpacks are impressively overpowered, I've got netherite scrap tripling and netherite ingot quadrupling, so 12 netherite from each ancient debris
i'm really getting the hang of this computer stuff
Couple ravens just flew over, straight gronkin' it
baby saw her first black-capped chickadee and a (possibly hairy) woodpecker yesterday, and a small flock of snow geese today.
i think my first experience with a 3d game was banjo kazooie on the n64, i think the summer it came out. i got to run around in a level for a little bit i think at one of my dad's friends house and i thought it was the coolest thing ever. my family didn't have a game console, so i only got to play at friends' houses, so it was something i sought out wherever i could, i couldn't get enough of games, even watching my friends play their favourite games
my gf's ex had kids who hadn't played a video game in their lives, the oldest was eight. their dad hadn't even tried teaching them, despite bragging about how his son was going to be a gamer. but she just got them minecraft and put it in creative mode and put the controllers in their hands. i think it's great to give them the opportunity to play and experiment and learn on the go.
weird, they got rid of the consumer carbon tax here in canada and all of a sudden nothing happened to the prices of gas or groceries or consumer goods. in fact walmart put the price of their own bread up by almost 50 cents where I am.
and now i get fewer cheques from the government, cool cool
