This account currently follows 539 people. Did some counting and was only about to find around 10 of that list belonging to folks who aren't white.

We want to boost more voices from POC. Help me out. Reply with some of your favorite punk and punk adjacent accounts that aren't white folks.

Accountability is important. It's often the difference between someone being able to continue a connection with us or not. Flipping the script damages trust.
But like really i'm just thinking and pissed about little expressions of white supremacy every day like the fact that you might not even know theres another fucking imperialist war going on if you talk to some people, while other people feel like they're going crazy, and other people are also so used to the background feeling of war and colonization to begin with.
Like maybe there's that belief that white counter culture people dont have to speak about anti racist politics because it's supposed to be the implied norm. but not speaking about racism is already the norm of white supremacy.
not trying to be an authority or spokesperson on this just stating an observation. my positionality in this is that i've lived here pretty much all my life and i also had a pretty fucking rich (compared to most people) and whitewashed upbringing so it's like; it's a thing i've had to try and go against and it's just the experience i can speak from. And it concerns me when i see people talking and behaving in a way that just ...smoothly elides everything that happens here.
