Alsof de hemel in de fik staat

Orange light produced by the burning towers of the Petrochemical factory in the harbor of Antwerp. By pushing the fluorescent green sensor-noise that was hiding in the shadows, I found the beautiful patterns created by the dark, silhouettes of the surrounding flora. #Photography #DigitalArt

During my studies, I connected with the company that captured a point cloud of the iconic Agfa-Gevaert factory nearby. It’s fascinating to see these two technologies converge in a single file.

A render showing the looping capability of a python script I use to generate endless pipeline systems. #VisualArt #Render #Blender
Screenshots from maps. made me realize how big the footprint is of the harbor. I do need to add that there is also something very satisfying about the layout. #Research #Pattern #DigitalWorld #Systems
Photograph taken in the harbor of Antwerp. Render is an attempt of finding a python code that could regenerate the complexity of such a pipeline-system. #DigitalArt #Photography #VisualArt #Blender

Every time I pack my bags to go on a on a new social adventure, there's that dreaded first post. A new beginning, once again... My search for a community led me through many platforms, from Instagram and Threads, X to Bluesky, as well as Tumblr, Patreon, and even Farcaster.

More and more often, I found myself uneasy by the closed worlds, data-harvesting, political policies, bots, and especially the bubbling algorithms.
