The constant sway of tech trends is so obnoxious. I was totally sold on CDN delivery of basic assets for web applications, after many many years of more server side rendered approaches and apps. Now SSR is back in vogue?

@Orenmazor boredom and dollars are a dangerous combo. (I'm jealous!)
Intelligent software assistance is pretty cool, though again it doesn't replace talent and skill. Being able to eyeball some broiler plate some algorithm coughed up will take good skill and talent, it never goes away.
People keep talking about AI taking over programming jobs. I feel like this may happen eventually, but I have a prediction. Specifying software that actually captures requirements is hard. There's going to be a lot of messy solutions thrown into production from AI tooling over the next 10 to 20 years as this stuff runs through the works.
